Brass Ensemble

Students in the brass ensemble will explore a wide variety of literature from Renaissance to Contemporary repertoire, as well as play in the brass section in the JOMP Youth Orchestra. Open to trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba. Students will be grouped by level. Class will focus on various period styles, attaining excellent intonation and tone, and playing in ensemble with verve and spirited musicianship.

Teacher recommendation for new students is required. Students not taking private lessons at JOMP are welcome but must schedule an audition. Please call or email to arrange a placement audition.

Time will be divided between Brass Ensemble and JYO
