JOMP Summer Chamber Orchestra
Summer JYO is an exciting two-week intensive for advanced strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Students enjoy playing together while enhancing their orchestral skills over the summer. Recent repertoire has included works by J.S. Bach, Bartok, Beethoven, Bizet, Debussy, Dvorak, Elgar, Faure, Haydn, Mozart, Saint-Saens, and Schubert. Rehearsals focus on developing musicianship and ensemble skills and refining interpretation, intonation and sound. Many students enjoy participating in our Chamber Music Intensive and/or Summer Brass Ensemble in combination with Chamber Orchestra.

July 22 - August 2, 6:45 – 8:30pm Monday through Friday
Tuition: $440
Teacher recommendation for new students is required. Students not taking private lessons at JOMP are welcome but must schedule an audition or submit a video recording. Please email Caroline Reiner-Williams at caroline@jomp.org. JOMP alumni are welcomed and encouraged to join us again this summer!
