Youth Vocal Ensemble
The Youth Vocal Ensemble is a group for students ages 8-12 who are passionate about singing. This ensemble fosters a welcoming, encouraging environment where we have a bunch of fun, treat each other with care and respect, and strive to perform at a high level. Beginners are welcome! Current private lesson voice students are strongly encouraged to join, as are all current JOMP students studying other instruments. Singing is essential to musical proficiency and especially aids with aural sills, blending with your ensemble, and breath control.
The activities we do in vocal ensemble help singers grow by building self-esteem, confidence, and creativity. Singers will explore choral music from a variety of genres, be offered leadership positions and solos, and engage with their community through performance opportunities at JOMP and at events like holiday caroling, retirement home visits, and more.

All current JOMP students may join a vocal ensemble for 50% off the tuition price. Current private voice lesson students may join for free!
