Joy of Music String Ensemble II (JOMSE II)

Joy of Music String Ensemble 2 offers young string players the enriching experience of learning a variety of pieces by different composers. They will work on developing their ensemble skills, including stylistic interpretation, intonation and balancing their sound. Many string players in the JOMP Youth Orchestra (JYO) and Sinfonietta received their early ensemble training in JOMSE 2. The level guideline is Suzuki Book 2 or its equivalent.

Tuition: $150

Teacher recommendation for new students is required. Students not taking private lessons at JOMP are welcome but must schedule an audition or submit a video recording. Please call or email caroline@jomp.org for more information.
