Caroline Reiner-Williams enjoys a busy schedule as a performing and teaching artist, and as Mom to Sofia and Alexander. She holds a Master of Music in cello pedagogy and performance from the Longy School of Music, where she studied under Terry King, a protégé of the legendary cellist Gregor Piatigorsky. Caroline has appeared on concert hall stages across the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Highlights have included Boston Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall in NYC, Shostakovich Hall in St. Petersburg (Russia), and the prestigious Granada Festival (Spain). In her free time, Caroline enjoys dabbling in photography and writing fiction. She has self-published one novel for Amazon Kindle and completed a second novel, written for middle grade students during the pandemic, entitled The Luthier’s Apprentice.
Caroline is active throughout New England as a chamber and orchestral musician. She performs regularly with the Nashaway Piano Trio and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, and serves as Principal Cello with the Massachusetts Symphony. In addition to serving on the faculty at Groton Hill Music and Joy of Music Program for more than a decade, Caroline was recently appointed Associate Director at Joy of Music in Worcester.
