Sue has been part of the Joy of Music community since 1996 when a friend in her homeschool group recommended the school. For the next 15 years, her three children thrived at JOMP, participating in Music & Movement, dance, chorus, private lessons, jazz and early music ensembles, and orchestra. Sue began volunteering in the evenings while her children were in lessons and ensembles. After they graduated, she continued to volunteer as an evening receptionist and became a full-time employee in 2015. As the registrar, Sue is integral to the success of JOMP. Every student who comes through the door gets to know Sue as she oversees registrations, scheduling, rescheduling, and more while always remaining a welcoming presence to all.
