Sanghee Kim

Sanghee Kim received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Music Education from Pusan National University in South Korea, where she won numerous competitions. She first came to the United States in 1993 and earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory.  Returning to Korea, she continued to devote herself to music by performing in solo and chamber music recitals, and as a member of an opera company. She also maintained a private teaching studio. In 1997, Sanghee returned to the United States to continue her piano studies with David Deveau. In 2003, she received a Performance Diploma in Piano and Collaborative Piano from the Longy School of Music, where she studied with Sally Pinkas and Brian Moll. Sanghee Kim has been teaching at Joy of Music since 2003.
